VOLTECH guide rails and ball/roller carriages feature an O-shaped raceway arrangement. O-shaped raceways can withstand higher torques than X-shaped raceways. Therefore, O-shaped raceways provide greater torsional rigidity.
Installation misalignments are compensated for, even when preloaded, ensuring smooth operation. Two-point contact minimizes friction, ensuring reliable, jerk-free, slip-free operation, extending the life of the rail guide.

To meet the requirements of accuracy and rigidity, different accuracy classes and preload values are used.

The rolling element arrangement, which complies with ISO 14728, optimizes load distribution in all directions of load application.

The connection and installation dimensions of VOLTECH rail guides comply with ISO 12090-1.
This ensures complete interchangeability with products from all manufacturers whose products comply with ISO standards.
05. EXTENDED SERVICE LIFE AND REDUCED MAINTENANCE
The rail guide carriages are pre-lubricated with a preservative lubricant. Both ends of the carriage are equipped with metal fittings with threaded grease holes, designed for installation of an automatic grease change system.
Each carriage comes standard with one grease nipple. The carriages feature double seals on both ends, as well as side and internal seals. This sealing design ensures both low friction and effective protection of internal components.
